Most industrial roller shutter doors are mounted to the inside face of a building to make most of the aperture and get maximum width and height with the roller shutter curtain and the side guides all placed inisde the opening and out of the way of any vehicle traffic too.
For a guide price we ask you take the width and height of the daylight opening and also the headroom above and the side room inside. Take note of the construction of the opening and whether it is a steel formed opening or brickwork, etc. There needs to be sufficient sideroom for the guides and headroom to accomodate the endplates and curtain roll which is normally around 400 - 500mm square either with a hood cover or without.
